On Oct 28th, The When In Need Foundation visited the Umunahu Uratta Model Primary School, Owerri North LGA, Imo State to present books, supplies and educational materials to its 200 students. The students were very excited to start using their books and supplies immediately.
Umunahu Uratta Model Primary School was founded in 1932 on the motto, “The Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom”.

The When In Need Foundation Imo State team celebrated its Day of Humanitarian Action on Oct 18th at the Mercy Motherless Babies Home Okwelle, Onuimo LGA, Imo State, Nigeria by giving back to the facility’s 42 children in need.
The event was also celebrated in the US (New York, Philadelphia, Chester) and Nigeria (Lagos, Abuja & Imo State) to help the less privileged, needy, and those with limited opportunities.
The Imo State team celebrated with lots of cheerful children and donated much needed food, baby care products and essential supplies to the facility. It was truly an exciting and memorable day for all!
Special Thanks to the WiN Team in Imo State, Sister Francisca Okafor and the entire leadership of the Mercy Motherless Babies Home Okwelle, Imo State facility.
