An Evening With President Clinton
On Thursday, Oct 8th, the When In Need Foundation Team joined President Clinton and Clinton Foundation 20/30 members at an incredible evening dedicated to the innovative global work of the Clinton Foundation.
Ms Chetachi Ecton, Founder and CEO of When In Need Foundation, George Onuorah, Media Director, Kayode Malomo, Projects Director and Godwin Nwoga, Operations Director represented the When In Need Foundation.
Clinton Foundation 20/30 members are working together to address the great challenges of their generation alongside the most exciting business leaders, industry innovators, and preparing them for their roles as global leaders of tomorrow.
It was truly an exciting night with special remarks from President Clinton, Honorary Ambassador Raven-Symone, and special guest Sarah Michelle Gellar with musical performance by O.A.R.’s Marc Roberge. The When In Need Foundation joined the Clinton Foundation 20/30 last year in helping to rebuild one of the houses that had been affected by Hurricane Sandy and will also do so this year.
WiN will continue to give back and work in building the global leaders of tomorrow through education and unlocking human potential.

WiN Celebrates Day of Humanitarian Action in Queens, NY.
We Rise By Lifting Others Up And Spreading Love Everywhere We Go!
The When In Need Foundation team celebrated its Day of Humanitarian Action on Oct 18th in Queens NY dedicated to giving back to children in need.
The event was celebrated in the US (New York, Philadelphia, Chester) and Nigeria(Lagos, Abuja & Imo State) to help the less privileged, needy, and those with limited opportunities.
The New York team celebrated with lots of excited children and families with food, drinks, face painting, music, snacks, entertainment and lots of gifts for everyone. It was truly a fun filled day!
WiN is dedicated to bringing joy into the lives of children and families by meeting them with a smile and spreading love wherever it goes.
Our world is a much better place simply because we are important in the life of a child.

When In Need Presents Educational Scholarship to Veshno Kumar
Education is the key to unlocking human potential globally!
On Oct 22, When In Need Foundation joined State Senator James Sanders Jr (NY) and team for an Educational Scholarship Presentation to Veshno Kumar and a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner for those who continue to positively impact their community at Compasse Cafe in Jamaica NY. Ms Chetachi Ecton, Founder and President of When In Need Foundation presented Veshno with the $1000 scholarship and stressed WiN’s commitment t…o building the global leaders of tomorrow through education.
The Recipient, Veshno Kumar, age 17, of South Ozone Park is a student at Brooklyn Technical High School, where she maintains a 95 percent average. She demonstrated exemplary leadership and professionalism that is far beyond her years leading and managing interns and assigning them tasks.
In addition to excelling in her classes, Veshno participates in extracurricular activities as a member of the choreography and Aspira clubs and manages the girls’ junior varsity basketball team. In her free time, Veshno volunteers as a dog walker for the Sean Casey Animal Rescue in Brooklyn. Veshno plans to continue her education by attending college and is considering Macaulay Honors College, Fordham University and Penn State University among her choices. She would like to pursue a career in social work or public relations.

WiN celebrates Day of Humanitarian Action in Abuja, Nigeria
The When In Need Foundation team visited the City of Refuge Orphanage, Abuja Nigeria in celebration of its Day of Humanitarian Action on Oct 18th. The Day of Humanitarian Action was dedicated to giving back to children in need and celebrated in the US ( New York, Philadelphia, Chester) and Nigeria(Lagos, Abuja & Imo State) to help the less privileged, needy, and those with limited opportunities. The WiN team joined the children at the orphanage to share love and happiness. Food, drinks and essential amenities were donated to the children in observance of the event. The children were elated about the visit and made a video of their gratitude which will be shared later. Let us always meet each other with a smile, for the smile is the beginning of love.
