Celebrating the Humanitarian Day of Action last October, The When In Need Foundation donated food to over a 1000 widows and over a 100 orphans in Jaba community of Kaduna. We gave out bags and boxes of rice, noodles, yam, tomato paste, salt and juice that can feed the community

The WIN Foundation President Chief Dr Chetachi Ecton distributed seeds to the community farmers and those in need, which will feed over 1.5 million people in Kaduna State, Nigeria. On June 9th, the When In Need Foundation presented educational support scholarships at Lincoln Charter School and York Academy Regional Charter School as part of its education initiative in York, Pa. The awards supports summer creative programs and recognizes academic excellence, selfless service artistic abilities. 2 amazing students were recognized, Nohemi Diaz, 4th grade at Lincoln Charter and Michaelina O’rourke at York Academy. The Early Christmas Giveaway & Educational Support Initiative, funded by Princess (Dr.) Chetachi Nwoga Ecton, brought hope, joy, and meaningful support to hundreds of people across Nigeria. Through the initiative, 370 vulnerable women received assistance, including 100 market women affected by a devastating fire and 270 widows, comprising civilians, military widows, and police widows. The program also made a significant investment in education by awarding scholarships to 10 primary school students, 10 secondary school students, and 10 young women enrolled in skill acquisition programs, while providing a special university scholarship to a young widow to help her pursue higher education. In addition, 500 notebooks were distributed to students to promote literacy and support learning. Through the When In Need Foundation, Princess (Dr.) Chetachi Nwoga Ecton’s unwavering commitment to education, literacy, and community empowerment continues to transform lives, inspire hope, and create brighter futures for underserved communities.
