On Thursday Sept. 24th, When In Need Foundation hosted its “Mission of Mercy” Gala – Unlocking Potential Globally at the Antun’s Hall in NY dedicated to supporting Children’s Causes globally.
The gala was geared towards advancing the work When In Need Foundation has done globally which started more than 2 decades ago under the visionary leadership of its founder and CEO, Ms. Chetachi Ecton…. This work has positively impacted over 10,000 individuals particularly women and children, supporting 150 students in their educational endeavors, partnering with 30 orphanages, 5 hospitals and 6 schools.
The event showcased the expanse of WIN with MOM’s global work demonstrating an unwavering commitment towards bettering the lives of those in need.

WiN Global Changers – 2015
When In Need cohosts “Back to School Jamboree” in NY
On Sat., August 29th – This weekend we did what we do best – serve the people! When In Need Foundation team led by Media Director, George Onuorah and Donyshia Benjamin Boston-Hill, CEO, Keeper of the Brand and volunteers joined NY State Senator James Sanders Jr. , Council member Donovan Richards, NY Senator Leroy Comrie and the NY Parks Department to host the Annual “Back to School Jamboree” to benefit children, teenagers and adults in NY returning back to school. This is… in line with When In Need’s mission of supporting students and young professionals to continue their education and career. 240 backpacks filled with school supplies at Brookville Park were donated in addition to other teams giving out supplies for 1,000 children at the event. Games, music, arts and craft, food and beverages were available to all the children and adolescents that participated in the event with a special appearance by The Federation of Black Cowboys. Other partners at the event included the Jam Master Jay Foundation for Youth, INC, the New Order of Solutions, Friends of Brookville Park, Queens Library and many more companies and Foundations that contributed to the success of the event.
