On July 23rd, Philadelphia’s City of Brotherly Love welcomed When In Need Foundation at Whosoever Gospel Mission. W.I.N with M.O.M Philly was led by CEO, Ms Chetachi Ecton with a dedicated vision for global philanthropy.
Since 1892, Whosoever Gospel Mission, a nonprofit has opened its doors to the public and currently supports 55 people at its facility with shelter, food, clothing, education, counseling, rehabilitation and other assistance to homeless and/or needy men, women and children in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area.
Its New Life Program for homeless men operates all year-round, with the Hannah’s Place, a residential facility for homeless or needy moms and their young children, is coming in the nearest future.
The delight, warmth and gladness expressed by the Executive Director Robert Emberger, Program Coordinator Ms Heather, their team including the men from the 55 person facility expressed as they received the bountiful donations of food, supplies and much needed necessities through When In Need Foundation will be memorable in their hearts for a long time to come!

On July 20, The When In Need Foundation team joined other business and political leaders at the US Chamber of Commerce in DC at a Banquet in honor of President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria. President Muhammadu Buhari was at the White House earlier in the day to meet with President Barrack Obama as part of a four-day visit to Washington DC.
The When In Need Team was on hand to share the vision of the organization and create awareness for its Global Mission of Mercy Initiative with business, political and civic leaders at the event.
At the dinner organized in his honor by the members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, President Buhari challenged American investors to take advantage of the liberal trade and investment climate in Nigeria to do profitable businesses with emerging opportunities in the aviation, telecommunication, energy, gas, solid mineral, health and infrastructural development sectors.
True leadership must ignite our actions to motivate and inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more.
On July 20, the When in Need Foundation Team visited members of Congress at the The Longworth House Office Building (LHOB) in Washington DC in order to share the vision of When In Need Foundation and create awareness for its Global Mission of Mercy Initiative.
In attendance were Ms Chetachi Ecton, the CEO of When In Need Foundation, George Onuorah, Director of Media, Kayode Malomo, Director of Projects and Donyshia Benjamin Boston Hill, PR Executive and CEO of Keeper of the Brand.
The WiN Team visited the offices of NY Congresswoman Yvette Clarke,9th District, Congressman Joseph “Joe” Crowley, 14th district to name a few including a stop at the White House. At the same time, Nigeria’s newly elected leader, President Muhammadu Buhari was at the White House to meet with President Barrack Obama as part of a four-day visit to Washington DC.
Later in the day, the WiN Team joined other business and political leaders at the US Chamber of Commerce at a Banquet in honor of President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria.

On July 25, When In Need Foundation team headed to Europe for its Global Mission of Mercy tour today in France, Italy, Spain and the UK under the leadership of its CEO, Ms Chetachi Ecton.
In continuation of its global mission of mercy campaign, WIN with MOM will continue to create impact and touch lives globally by visiting orphanages, homeless shelters and hostels that assist those less fortunate with necessary resources by being a blessing through donations of basic amenities, food, supplies, medical, healthcare, and educational resources on its tour. The Mission of Mercy initiative is born out of its Founder and C.EO, Ms. Ecton’s lifelong virtues of selflessness and compassion for the needy and downtrodden.

The Imo State Government sent an Appreciation letter to the leadership of When In Need Foundation for all its efforts in helping rebuild the school buildings, donating books, supplies and a new water system at Samuel Njemaze Primary School. WIN Foundation will also donate new shoes to all 350 students at the school this fall as its Mission of Mercy continues to create impact and transform lives.
