When In Need donates New Water System to Ngokpala LGA, Imo State
“Water is a key foundation, whose importance cannot over estimated.”
On May 3rd, the When In Need Foundation commissioned a new water system it donated to the Ngokpala LGA, Upe Kingdom of Imo State, a community of 30,000 residents.
The water project was initiated by WIN’s Operations Director for Africa, Mr. Casmir Nwoga. At hand for the commissioning and ribbon cutting His Royal Highness, Eze Okoro Onyewuchi Geoffrey, Okoh 1 Of UPE Kingdom, other High Chiefs and community, CEO of When In Need Foundation, Ms Chetachi Ecton, Media Director – Mr George Onuorah, Project Director, Mr. Kayo Malomo, Mr Chukwuma Okere – Projects Coordinator , WiN Nigeria team and special guests.
This community had lost hope of sustainable water supply for years until when in need foundation stepped in to build a state of the art water supply system for the community. Women and children danced to celebrate the commissioning.
