    In the Ngor Opkala community in the Imo state Nigeria 30,000 people had no access to water safe enough to be consumed by humans. They relied more on streams and other contaminated sources of water for drinking, washing and food preparation purposes.

    In the rural areas of Nigeria it is extremely difficult for women, especially widows, to provide for their families. With this project we gave widows a means of providing for themselves by purchasing land and materials so they can farm and sell crops.
