When In Need launches Agricultural Empowerment Project in Nigeria

‘Give a man a fish to eat, and he feeds himself for one day. Teach a man how to fish, and he feeds himself, his loved ones and friends for a lifetime.’ On May 4th, the When In Need Foundation team led by CEO, Ms Chetachi Ecton visited its rural agricultural empowerment project in Ntueke, Imo State dedicated to building sustainability. The pilot agricultural project is based on cultivating plots of land with cash crops to help the community feed its residents in order to provide sustainable development and employment for women and local farmers.
