Angelina: A Moving Story From The Shores of The Dominican Rep.

Angelina is a sweet 3 year old who yearns for love and affection like any other child. Unfortunately, she and her sister Angelica were abandoned with no documentation at such a tender age. Luckily, the Dominican rep. based orphanage, Orfanato Niños de Cristo came to their rescue offering them a new home in 2013. Her beautiful and infectious smile immediately caught the attention of When In Need Foundation’s CEO Ms. Chetachi Ecton, during her recent trip to the orphanage Orfanato Niños de Cristo. An obvious bond of friendship was quickly established, as they were both inseparable during the visit. They played and laughed together! When In Need Foundation will now sponsor Angelina’s upkeep that will cover her food, clothing and shelter and continue to play a supporting role in her future. We welcome Angelina into the When In Need family as we continue to forge ahead on our mission of compassion, care, hope, transforming lives and creating impact!
